Phosphate Sludge Separator to Replace Filter-Press & Exceler Filter:
An established tractor manufacturer, with a state-of-art paint shop, had run into a problem of high maintenance costs and excessive time spent on the filter press provided for the phosphate sludge separation.Aquarius replaced the existing filter press with an in-line Separator. The Separator system installed comprises of a special Separator model that is connected directly to the Phosphate Tank. The Separator has a high cleaning efficiency up to 5 micron particle size. This avoids the useof maintenance-prone conventional equipment like press filters, clarifier systems, exceler filters, etc. Additionally, the compact Separator system helps in saving of space inside the paint shop.
Since the Separators use no filter media, there is no possibility of sludge choking in filters. Reduction in power and consumables reduce the running costs. Moreover, the closed system helps in limiting the pollution.
Special Separator models are available for Zinc, Iron as well as Manganese Phosphate sludge separation.
